
Our single origin portfolio draws from four wildly different growing regions with equally different flavor profiles. Central America, central Africa, Asia, and South America each bring something entirely different to the table, as you'll see in the tasting notes. Our goal is to get exceptional representative coffees into your hands and your morning cup so you can experience their unique character as you explore the world of coffee, develop your palette, and discover your preferences.
With one exception, we roast single origins to a medium roast, just to where their essential character stands out. Roast a little too short and dynamic beans like these are unpalatably sour and underdeveloped. Roast too long and the delightful bright notes fade into a generalized roasty flavor. Roasting to capture this properly developed unique character is a tricky balance and separates the good roasters from the posers.
